Keep your eyes on Jesus

It came to me as I had a cup of tea at this early hour, 4.30am

Jesus you have said to keep our eyes on You, the author and perfecter of our faith.
Not the troubles, not the pain, not the lack or anything else but on You.
These things aren't from you they are from the enemy, you may allow them but if you do its because we may have something to learn. Its in the battles we lean on You, rely on You, cry out to You and see You move the mountains

You have said 'take heart I have overcome the world', 'fear not for I am with you'. 'I will never leave you or forsake you'. 'No weapon formed against you will prosper'.

You are with us always. Help us to keep our eyes on you, your word, your promises, your grace, your truth, your love. Keep us firm in the hope you have set before us.

Let's praise Him in the storms as well as the sunny days. \0/

I know the days are dark now

 Youre there in the darkness

When i feel all alone
You promised to be with me
As your word has always shown
Come Holy Spirit and fill me
I need your transforming touch
To do all you have commanded
Because I love you Lord so much.
I know the days are dark now
And many troubles are within
But you promised to be with me
So cleanse me from my sin
Lord fill me with you spirit
Guide me in the way to go
To serve you Lord my saviour
In whatever you call me to sow
I know that you will be with me
Your voice will be my guide
I will listen and will follow
Because you'll be right by my side.
You promised never to leave me
Your words are always true
So guide me my dear Jesus
I will forever worship you.

Sundays coming

Are you stuck in Saturday? Remember Sundays Coming

Today is Saturday. The day between Good Friday and Easter Sunday.

Many of us maybe in a ‘Saturday’ place. A place of darkness, questions that go unanswered, worries, ill health, fears and so much more.  Saturday is dark, it calls out your name. It questions what you do or who you are. In fact it questions whose you are.

It plays the same ‘record’ again and again. It shouts in the night and keeps you awake. It replays the past, replays your pain. Question upon question.

You feel insignificant, you feel alone but then again you want to be alone you're not in a place talk to anyone. Even in a crowd you feel lonely.

You cry out to God and ask why? What is going on? Where are you?

But……… Sundays Coming.

One day the light will dawn. The sun will shine in and through your life again. God sometimes uses these times to grow us. Like a seed being planted in the ground. It appears nothing is happening but one day it sprouts up into an almighty tree full of blossom. You hear Him again, aware of His presence. He speaks to you through His word, His spirit.

Keep holding on because Sundays coming.
